This short by Raven McAllan is the second book in the Dommissimma series about the BDSM club of the same name.The first book, Master, was phenomenal, as was her other series about a BDSM club, Diomhair. And, I'm happy to say, her alpha hero's are still as hot and sexy as in her other books.
Tay MacKinnon is driving along on his way to see his agent/sister. (he's an actor). He's behind a double decker bus when he happens to catch a familiar glimpse of white/silver hair on a profile he's well-acquainted with. It's been five years, but he'd know his Silver anywhere. They had one magical night before she ran. But while there's a distraction, she exits the bus.
Julia is finishing up her last day of work and is taking a year off to write a book. She 's asked to take notes for her boss and a client. When the client speaks in a deep, rumbling voice and calls her pet, five years disappear in a flash. She'd remember Master T anywhere. But when he goes to talk to her, she's hiding. Her friend has plans though, and when they go out to a club that night, it turns out to be Dommissimma, a local BDSM club. And Master T just happens to be there. What's a sub to do?
As always, it was a joy reading one of Raven's books, even if it was way too short. I love her Doms, and she's just made me fall in love with one more. I'll take one please?

The Girl On The Bus was a quick little read full of emotion, and I devoured it. This is the first book by Raven McAllan that I have read, but it certainly won't be the last.
I really liked Julia and Tay. I think they complemented each other, and the emotions from both of them felt very genuine. I understood Julia's reasoning for why she left Tay before. The author gives you enough background, that you don't feel like you missed out on anything.
The pacing of the story was nice, and I never once felt like the story was rushed, even though it's short. I completely understood where both characters were coming from. The sex, and BDSM element of this story was well written, and kept with the tone of the story.
I'm looking forward to reading more from Raven McAllan.

How do you find someone whom you spent a night with years ago? Do you see her face in the crowd? Is she the girl with the silver hair on the bus?
I like the premise of this story and I love that this author always integrates her surroundings into her stories. I haven't been to Scotland for a few years but when I read her stories, I feel like catching the next flight there.
This story has similarities to Master by the same author which I loved. The author writes the BDSM aspects well and the scenes are HOT. However, for me it lacked the emotional intensity that was Master, perhaps because this is a short story. I guess I shouldn’t compare the two books but Master set the standard by which all of Raven's future BDSM books will be judged by me. J
Anyway, I digress. Did I enjoy this book? Yes. Do I recommend it? Yes. Will I read this author again? Of course, yes! If you love short story erotic romance, go pick this up.
Ahhhh I love Raven. Not only is she a pretty awesome person, but she's an amazing author and writer. She gave me the chance to read and review this book and I'm so excited that she did. I need more of Tay and Julia. Honestly I loved every second of this book...and in reading this book it's like going to Ceder Point. You are super stoked to get to the park and you see the new roller coaster you want to ride. You go get in line and the excitement to get on the ride take over. You keep moving further up the line and now you're next to get on. You finally get on the ride in your seat and buckled in and yes you're all set to go. The cars take off and start to head up the hill to start the ride. Climbing foot by foot until you're towering over the entire pack and you're close to the top. Just a few more feet and you'll be at the top and on your way down to fun. And you are just crossing the top ready to fall and that thrill is about to come and you just stop half way down the hill. That's what this book did to me.
This book had an amazing start and plot and everything...but it was just like tasting you. I want to know more. For me this book was just the start of Julia and Tay's story....and I want more. When we start out reading this book Tay is driving along and he happens to look up at a bus and sees Silver hair. Could it be? 5 years ago his Tay hard in that moment. Shared moments with a woman and her silver hair. He follows the bus only to lose the girl and feeling crazy he continues on to his destination.
While at work Julia finds herself come face to face (so to speak) with someone from her past. And she finds out his real nam...Tay. Five years ago Julia and some friends went to a BDSM club to check it out and possibly test it out some. This is where Julia and Tay first meet...although names aren't given and his face is hidden Julia knows that voice anywhere. Tay feels like he knows Julia....he feels like he's finally found his Silver. However, this reunion doesn't go the way Tay hoped it would. Has Tay finally found his Silver only to have her slip through his fingers again? Will she finally give in? Will Julia get what she wants? Will Tay find another way? There's so many questions that need to be answered and most get answered in this book. This book is a short read and it AMAZING!!! But I'm dying to know what is going to happen next for Tay and what will happen for Julia.
